Samsung is expected to launch its Galaxy S20 and Galaxy S20 + smartphones along with its new foldable Galaxy Z Flip smartphone at the 2020 Galaxy Unpacked event.
But one day ahead of the official launch Samsung officially confirmed the design and some features of its much-tuned foldable Galaxy Z Flip smartphone.
Samsung is rather bad at keeping secrets when it comes to new products. Most of the time, the world knows pretty much everything about the upcoming product ahead of launch when the company is about to announce a new flagship device.
The ad showed the telephone sitting alone on a table at a 90-degree angle, the easier to do video chatting. It has also given us our first, best look at it folded up and it doesn’t seem to fold flatly.
You can see some of the tricks you can use your phone to try out. You can see it doesn’t have a headphone jack, either.
The video also shows that the Galaxy Z Flip comes with a dual-rear camera setup and single center-mounted front camera and is said to be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 + processor coupled with 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal storage.
It has volume buttons and the power button on the right side, which is identical to premium smartphones from Samsung, SIM card slot on the right side and USB Type-C port on the bottom.
It’s also said to run Android 10 OS topped with the company’s own One UI2.0. The computer is said to have a 6.7-inch Infinity Flex screen with a resolution of 1080×2636 pixels.
Samsung will surely be showcasing their new folding smartphone in the event tomorrow. When the device will be launched onto the market is uncertain. We might have to wait another few months.
